On January 1, 2013 Delphi will start a special project on robotizing seismic acquisition. It is based on an innovative concept that replaces the centralized measurement system by a decentralized one. In this revolutionary different approach the recorded information will not increase linearly with the size of the system (N), but it will increase significantly faster (N2). In this way a million channel acquisition system becomes a practical reality.
