It was definitely good to receive all the feedback during the discussions, the breaks and from the feedback forms.

The Delphi team looks back at a very successful sponsor meeting in The Hague last May. With a high attendance from the sponsors and four days of presentations and lots of discussions, we hope that this meeting was fruitful for our sponsors. It was definitely good to receive all the feedback during the discussions, the breaks and from the feedback forms.

We are strengthened by the positive response that our research program is on target and wherever needed we will make some adjustments.

Another event of remembrance was the Sponsor's dinner on Thursday evening in the 'Spaansche Hof' (Spanish Court house). Especially because prof. Berkhout announced that - after being for more than 50 years in the business - he wants to step down from leading the consortium as of 1 January 2016 and leaves the responsibilities to the next generation, in specific Eric Verschuur and Gerrit Blacquiere.

Besides good food and conversations, the evening was filled with speeches showing  appreciation for the major achievements of Prof.

Prof. Berkhout will stay active, but in a different direction with his newly started consortium "The Centre for Global Socio-Economic Change" (www.cfgsec.com).

Of course, on behalf of the whole Delphi Team we thank him for the great work he did in leading the consortium to what we have today.

We can only hope the consortium will continue within the same spirit and wish him all the best for his new endeavor.

The Delphi Team, July 2015.
